Before considering about "Bases and techniques", please read following questions carefully and answer to yourself.

How do you think of the Bases and the Techniques that are currently emphasized in Japan?
What do Bases and Techniques mean?
Don�ft you think we should clearly differentiate between Bases and Techniques?
Are you trying to give your players long duration of basic technique drills, copy the systems, tactics, etc used in international competitions, and force to adopt them onto your team?
According to my experience, I believe that it is important to differentiate clearly between bases and techniques, build up your own team system fitting to each players and the team, teach the system and tactics to your players, and finally figure out strategies and game plan considering your opponent.
