Yesterday I saw a typical scene in difference between at the field of radical sports and traditional one for junior, Soccer and baseball.
They share of a same field; their elementary school. The baseball club coachfs way was mainly scolding or oppressive. They sometimes said, when a player missed somethingh What did you do? What did you think this gameh or gYou could not win the gameh I heard and sawh I could not understand his words, because there was not any explains for their fault. Moreover I was immediately aware of their club did not have a lively communication each other.On the contrary, the soccer team players enjoyed meeting with their fellows and coaches. Before training, they played each other with a ball vividly. I felt they love to play soccer with their friends. Their coaches greeted with a smile and played actively with them in some pass games. There was atmosphere that they do something automatically and voluntary. I heard so much,h you are OK!h gnice to try, play againh and ggood !!h
I saw again the most impressive scene the day, when the baseball club finished their practice earlier than soccer and they thanked soccer team member for sharing that field in a rank; rank bowing is Japanese popular thanks for supporter for example, their parents, coaches and so on. They shouted synchronizingh ARIGATOU GOZAIMASITA meaning thank you for your cooperation!h Then what was happen? the soccer coaches ,players and their parents who look at their childrenfs play clapped. I have never saw like this good situation for junior coaching and education.
I think coaching for junior should be in culture. Sport is one of culture of human beings. The word of culture means the way of teaching or coaching with intelligence and instruction without power or punishment.

I believe that the more important things than to win exist in the field of coaching for young age and children. Children behave like adults.
It is not an exception in the case of KOMAZAWA UNIV TOMAKOMAI high school baseball team.
Why we can educate them who are active in the international borderless world by such way?
I must say Japanese traditional sport coaching faces to serious condition.
People should know that theory of supreme command to win is a relic of 60fs that is called mass production and mass consumption era.
Please donft forget we are in the era that is more cultural than material social.
